Traditional Young Life is what most people think about when it comes to Young Life. Traditional Young Life is our ministry to high school students at Hamilton Southeastern & Fishers High School. We have adult leaders who earn the respect and trust of high school students by showing up in their world. Our Young Life Leaders are there for students in the good times and the bad.

CLUB — A PARTY WITH A PURPOSE

What is it about Young Life club that makes it the best night of the week for thousands of kids every week? We like to think of it as a party with a purpose. It's controlled chaos that's almost impossible to describe, but kids know it when they see it. And before the party ends, we share a simple message about God's love for them. After all, that's what the celebration is all about.

CAMPAIGNERS — A TIME TO LEARN AND GROW

Campaigners (a name that points back to the early days when Young Life was referred to as "The Young Life Campaign") is a for kids and leaders to slow down and have real and significant conversations about their life and faith through study, service and leadership. Young Life leaders also encourage these kids to celebrate their faith through participation in a local congregation.

7th and 8th Graders

WyldLife

A place for 7th & 8th Graders in our community

Middle school kids are at a different developmental stage than high schoolers and need different things, so we make a subtle delineation between the two by appropriately calling our work with early adolescents "WyldLife."

WyldLife is unique because parents and adults usually play a more prominent role in middle school kids' lives than in those of high school kids.

Middle school students are dependent on their parents or other adults for money, schedules, transportation, and more. If students are going to be involved, it's because these adults help make it happen.

Adults in the community

Adult Volunteers

We could not do what we do with out our adult volunteers, or ministers as we call them. There are many ways for you to get involved as an adult from becoming a leader for Young Life or WyldLife, or joining our Young Life committee that serves behind the scenes to lead, direct, pull off and support all Young Life and WyldLife does in the lives of kids in our community.

Ministries beyond our community

Younglives

Teen moms are often ostracized from society and their peers. It is hard enough to be a teen today, let alone a teen that has to learn how to raise a child in the midst of adolescents. Young Life believes that pregnant teens/ teen moms need someone to help walk through this journey of motherhood with them. Young Life provides this through our ministry known as YoungLives. YoungLives is a group of women in the community who choose to invest in teen moms in greater Indianapolis.

Young Life College

Young Life has a growing presence on college campuses. It’s called Young Life College. Young Life College offers a fun, accepting community to be a part of while exploring or deepening their faith.

College students can also be great Young Life leaders for middle and high school students. Most areas are eager to train and include college students as valuable members of their Young Life teams.

CAPERNAUM

We believe that all kids have value and worth, including our friends with special needs. Capernaum is our ministry that serves this segment of students. We have adult and high school leaders that pursue friendships with our friends with special needs. In a world that often pushes them to isolation, Capernaum provides kids with special needs a friend they can count on.

Currently, we are working on building a team of adults to step into the lives of students with all abilities in our community. If you're interested in serving as a leader with Capernaum or just helping behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you!
